Pilgrimage to Parthi

Sairam. With Swami’s blessings, students and staff, totally 246 members had the blessed opportunity to go on pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam from 26th to 28th July 2018. 5 buses started from SSSIE on 26th morning. The group reached Parthi in the evening on the same day. At Sai Bhakta Nivas hall, Sri Sanjay Sahani, Controller of Examinations, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning was kind enough to give an exclusive and interactive talk to the students about having strong faith on Swami narrating various miracles and his personal experiences with Bhagawan. On 27th, holy Gurupoornima day, all had the Divine Mahasamadhi Darshan of our beloved Sadhguru and witnessed speeches and various cultural programmes staged in the Divine presence. Letters written by all the students and staff expressing their prayers and resolutions were offered at the Divine lotus feet. After morning Darshan, Smt. Sundaravalli, Speaker at Prasanthi Nilayam gave a scintillating talk to the students about Namasmarana and getting Success in life. The group visited various places of interest around Prasanthi Nilayam including Sri Sathya Sai Super Specialty hospital, Eswaramma Samadhi, Kalpaka Vriksha tree etc. Sri Sai Kaustav Das Gupta, an international graphic designer with 90 percent disability gave a motivational talk to the students at Chaitanya Jyothi on 28th afternoon. The group left Prasanthi Nilayam after evening Darshan on 28th.
