Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare(CBSE), Chromepet offers Sai system of value-based integral education, free of tuition fees, to all the students from LKG to XII grades. The 43nd annual sports and cultural meet of the school was organized in a spectacular manner on 11th Jan 2023 between 5:30 to 9:00 pm on the theme ‘BHAKTA MEERA’ – the divine story of the saint poet Meerbai and Lord Krishna.
The programme began with welcoming Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in a beautifully decorated chariot with Veda Parayanam and Band procession. After students performed the march past, Sri P.Kumarasamy, Director delivered the welcome address. The school annual report was presented on 3 topics viz. academic excellence, co-curricular excellence and human excellence by Senior Principal Smt. Savithri Chandrasekaran , Vice Principal Smt. Veda Nayagi and Primary Head Mistress Smt. Sai Gowri respectively.
Sri Lakshmipathy Deenadayalan, Chairman and Managing Director, Fivestar Busniess Finance Ltd. Chennai, was the chief guest of the programme. He appreciated the integral system of education followed at SSSIE. He explained the students to have higher thoughts and follow the advice of Bharath Rathna Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam to dream about success.
Best house in Sports and Co-curricular activities were awarded the shield. Individual Rathna award of excellence in sports, fine arts, character, service attitude, spirituality, assembly activities, technology were awarded to the selected students. Smt. Poongothai, Asst. Primary Head Mistress proposed the vote of thanks.
A fascinating skit on the Divine Story of saint poet Meerabai and her yearning to have the company of Lord Sri Krishna was presented by the students with mesmerizing dance performances in between. Students enthralled the audience with a soulful fusion ensemble and mind-blowing adventurous events including Karate, Silambam, Gymanstics, Fire Skating, Pyramid show, Yoga, Malkhamb etc. Correspondent Sri S.Loganathan headed the whole programme. Sai Educare Trust Members, School Management Committee Members, Coaches, Teaching and non-teaching staff, Parents, Well-wishers etc. attended the function. The programme concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
