With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare offers Sai system of integral value-based education since 1978. Students who pass out of the portals of SSSIE have become role models in the society due to their high academic calibre and exemplary character moulded during their stay at the hostel. One such role model student who has made Bhagawan proud of him is Brother T.Bhuvaneshram who has come out as the Tamilnadu state IAS exam topper 2024 (state first rank) out of lakhs students who appeared.
The Indian Administrative Service(IAS) exam conducted annually by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Govt. of India is one among the top 5 toughest exams in the world. It is also regarded as a century-old exam of the nation. Students who clear the IAS exam and the preceding interview are selected for various top Govt. posts across the nation. Based upon their efficiency and maturity, they are recruited as bureaucrats in high posts such as Chief Secretary, District Collector etc. While it is a herculean task for the candidates to pass this challenging exam, coming out as the topper in the state is really superhuman that requires strenuous hard work, dedication and above all the Divine Blessings!
This Himalayan achievement by Brother Bhuvaneshram is the result of his passion and perseverance to clear the exam. The entire SSSIE family feels proud that the values and the skills he developed through the Sai system of value-based integral education offered by SSSIE have supported him to achieve this unparalleled success.
He completed his class X at SSSIE and spoke about the school to an interview by Heart2heart team, Radiosai in the year 2009 as below:
“My father is a Sai devotee and he admitted me in this school as he wished me to become a good Sai student. I have been studying here the last 4 years and am a top rank holder. I learn various other skills such as karate and yoga, and while receiving this value- based education I have transformed a great deal. I used to get up late and throw my belongings everywhere, but after coming here I keep my things in order and rise early.
I am gaining self-confidence and learning how to adjust to others as I live in the hostel. I participated in last year’s competitions and won the state level prize in the quiz, group singing and the skit. I feel very proud to be a Sai student; I would never have got such chances had I been living at home. I pray to Swami to make me a doctor which is my life’s goal. I wish to serve the poor and the sick. I will work hard to achieve my goal and help my parents with the grace of Sathya Sai Baba.”
He was also blessed to continue his higher studies at Swami’s University – SSSIHL at Parthi. True to his wish and prayers, Bhagawan has showered His incessant Blessings to achieve his goal to serve the society in a tremendous way today.
In a recent interview to a popular Tamil News channel, he has narrated about the Sathya Sai school system based on human values which gave him the foundation to develop the service attitude and also talked about the Ceiling on Desires programme which he was taught to practise during the Diwali vacations that enabled him to reduce his wants and save money to contribute for organizing the annual Grama Seva event by SSSIE.
