Sairam. ‘Sath Sankalpa day’ was observed as Sadhana on the 6th day of the Navaratri Celebrations on the theme Kriya Shakti; Iccha Shakti; Jnana Shakti – the triune Shaktis immanent in all. Smt. K.Poongothai, Headmistress(Primary) gave an inspiring talk in the assembly during the Navaratri Pravachan on ‘Sath Sankalpam’ – taking good resolutions. She narrated a ring miracle by Bhagawan to Prof. N. Kasturi and highlighted the importance of taking resolutions from the heart and not from the head. If you are making a resolution to become an ideal Sai student, you should be determined to follow it and should not take it just for name sake. The Pravachan was continued by Master Kabilesh, class VII who brought out the significance of the important human value determination. The Navaratri Chaturya of the day was offered by class III children. A folk dance on Lord Muruga made the atmosphere fill with joy and devotion. A mime cum dance performance on saving trees made everyone emotional and feel the importance of trees in human life. Correspondent Sri S.Loganathan felicitated all the participants.
In the evening, during Navaratri Sangeetham, students of Guru Smt. Rupa Jayakumar offered a mellifluous Carnatic vocal concert. The program comprised popular Carnatic Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Sanskrit pieces, and a few Sai Bhajans that made everyone feel the Divine vibrations and the richness of classical music. The soothing Violin accompaniment by Brother Sri Nidhish Kumar and a fitting Mridangam accompaniment by Brother Aravind, SSSIE Alumnus added to the aesthetic beauty of the presentation. The artists were felicitated by Correspondent Sri S.Loganathan. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.
