Sairam. With the Divine Grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the students and the staff of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare, Chromepet, Chennai-44 participated in the 3-day pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam between 26th and 28th July 2024 and received the Divine Blessings. With prayers and Bhajans, the trip started from the SSSIE Campus in the early morning on 26th July in 5 buses. The group reached the abode of Lord Sai in the evening on the same day. All the students were blessed to stay in the Sai Bhaktha Nivas Hall.
On the 27th, after breakfast, students were seated in the holy Sai Kulwant hall and they joined the Veda chanting and Bhajan sessions. They had the Divine Maha Samadhi Darshan of Bhagawan and offered letters written to Lord Sai expressing their gratitude, transformation, and prayers. The places of interest at Parthi such as Eswaramma Samadhi, Chitravathi River, Lord Hanuman temple, Swami’s birth place, etc. were visited by the group. In the afternoon, students were blessed to listen to a vibrant and thought-provoking Satsang by Sri B. Sai Surendranath, Faculty, Sri Sathya Sai Hr. Sec. School, Prasanthi Nilayam. The speaker shared how Swami got him admission into the Brindavan college through miraculous experiences. He highlighted the quotes of Bhagawan such as 4Fs, 3Ps etc. and taught the students how to play in the field of life.
His personal experiences with Bhagawan acted to increase faith in Swami in the hearts of the students. On both 26th and 27th, students had the golden opportunity to witness the mesmerizing cultural dance and vocal presentations by the students and the youth of Himachal Pradesh State. On the 26th, in the evening, students were blessed to listen to yet another blissful Sathsang by Smt. Sundaravalli, Faculty, Sri Sathya Sai Hr. Secondary School. She narrated an enlightening incident of a Swami student who was protected by Bhagawan and was miraculously blessed to receive hall ticket for his exams at the last minute. After narrating Chinna Katha stories of Muthu Swami Iyer and Rishi Mandavya, she advised the students to surrender everything at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan to be successful in any noble endeavour.
On 27th, after the Maha Samadhi Darshan, students visited the Chaitanya Jothi Museum and witnessed the enlivening models of values and spirituality. Then, it was a fun time for all the students, when the SSSIE volleyball and football teams had a friendly match with the students of SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam at the Sri Sathya Sai International Indoor Stadium. The matches gave the students a memorable experience. In the evening after Bhajans, the group started back and reached the campus in the early morning on 29th July. With Mangala Arathi offered to Lord Sri Vidya Ganesh, SSSIE, the pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam concluded successfully. All the students were given Swami’s Vibhuti Prasadam along with a pocket size photograph of Bhagawan. Sairam.
On the second day of the pilgrimage, after having the Mahasamadhi Darshan, the students and the staff had a visit to the Chaitanya Jyothi and witnessed the spiritual and value-based models exhibited. Then, the SSSIE volleyball team and the football players had an interesting friendly match with the brothers of SSSIHL at the Sri Sathya Sai International Indoor Stadium. The group departed from Parthi after Dinner and reached the campus on the 29th morning at 6:30 am.
