Sairam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, SSSIE hostelers and staff went for an excursion to places in and around the holy city of Thiruvannamalai on 9th Nov 2024. The group started on 3 buses from the campus in the early morning. Along with prayers and Bhajans, throughout the journey, students enjoyed the sceneries on the way and were excited to see new places and people. Following the queues, students had the blissful Darshan of Lord Sri Arunachala and Goddess Sri Unnamulai Amman.
The group then visited the serene Ramanashramam and was offered a delicious lunch. All merged with the inexplainable vibrations of Lord Ramana. The peaceful ambiance made the minds meditate upon the Self.
Then, the visit to the Satthanur dam was an unforgettable experience. Hearts danced with the beauty of nature and the man-made marvel on earth – the Satthanur dam. Students climbed the steps and witnessed the dam’s beauty and magnificence from the top. The meeting point of the sky and the waters around the hills is a feast for the eyes that creates a deep poetic impact in the expressions. Correspondent Sri S.Loganathan, Vice Principal Ms. N.Vedhanayagi, Middle & Secondary Headmaster Sri C.Manikandan, Primary Headmistress Smt.Poongothai led the group at every step. The group returned to the campus at night. The fantastic trip to Thiruvannamalai concluded with Mangala Arathi to Lord Sri Vidya Ganesh, SSSIE.
